Immunofluorescence depicting the differential expression of β-catenin in SiHa cells following treatment with HIV-tat and gp120 proteins. Nuclei stained with DAPI appeared blue under ultraviolet excitation, while red fluorescein-labeled signals indicated positive β-catenin expression. The findings revealed cytoplasmic and nuclear expression of β-catenin in SiHa cells. Upon treatment with HIVgp120 and tat protein, an increase in β-catenin expression within SiHa cells was observed, including its accumulation in the nucleus
